Who do I see?

I work with clients aged 16 years and older.

I am based in NSW, however clients can be anywhere in Australia or overseas.

We can figure out time zones and what time sessions will work.

How are sessions run?

In-person at my practice in Pyrmont or online via video.

My preference for online is a platform called Psychology Today (similar to Zoom). The platform is secure and confidential for counselling sessions. It’s important that you have a room or space which is confidential and comfortable to complete our sessions.

My office is confidential with a closed door, I also wear headphones to ensure our sessions are secure and for my ears only.

Do I need a referral to see a Counsellor/ or you?

No, you do not.

Counsellors in Australia aren’t registered with Medicare, meaning we’re unable to provide a rebate or accept Mental Health Care plans.

Generally, Counsellors fees are lower than those practitioners registered with Medicare to accommodate this.

The standard counselling session is 60min, and the rate is $120p/hour.

If you are at school or at university and don’t work full-time, we can discuss a possible reduced rate over the phone.

Payment:

All sessions are to be paid in advance by invoice, this is to ensure you secure your appointment.
